I think it’s amazing that perfectly intelligent people think that anyone who doesn’t believe that the slick talking Mr. O should be president is a racist. I saw black teenagers getting knocked down with a firehose for trying to get in to a public swimming pool, now that is racist. Me making a choice to not vote for a man because I disagree with his “policy” is simply my freedom of choice. Mr Byrne thinks we should allow people who are not citizens to vote???? He sounds like a nitwit.

I don’t think anyone here, including the awesome David Byrne, thinks people are racist for not preferring Obama. Some people may, we do not.

Our problem with those who did not prefer Obama is that, to us, Obama is the smartest and most appropriate person to be President that we’ve ever known, and are incredulous when other people do not also believe this.

So, Mom, I do not think you’re racist. I know you are not!

But I am incredulous, for what you call “slick-talking” I find to be deeply intelligent, inspirational, and very welcome.

He is, to me, a tremendously exciting actualization of global cultural progress.
