I totally agree with PERSONAL responsibility. I do not agree with the idea that our gov. needs tell me how to be a responsible person. We don’t need a president to tell us those things. We need a president to run the country, not our personal lives. I agree that we should help others, but that should be done through our Churches and communities, not big gov.

I agree that all the things he is saying should be done, no child should be without a loving home. But what does any of that have to do with being president?

i believe that running the country begins IN our homes… change starts from the very CENTER and works its way to the very external points you are referring to. we will NEVER see change if we don’t begin centrally.

he is simply trying to get people to wake up to what is going on WITHIN the homes that are raising OUR COUNTRY.

lynn, both of our families KNOW what happens when the country aims for selfish gratification and doesn’t think about the PEOPLE. bush has done SO MUCH damage on this very level!
